The City OF Hearne Christmas Lighting Contest

Hearne Make your Christmas bright... and spread the cheer.

The City of Hearne will celebrate Christmas with an annual outdoor decorating contest! It is that time of year again, if you have the most festive house on the block, then we would like to know! 

​

The City of Hearne invites all residents and businesses to enter in the annual Holiday Decorating Contest. This is a great way to show off your community pride and spread cheer throughout the holiday season. It’s also a perfect project for the entire family to enjoy, so, pull out your Santa, sled, reindeer, wreath and of course, don’t forget the lights!

The contest is open to all residential homes and businesses within the Hearne City Limits. We encourage Businesses to participate as well. Selections will be made in all areas of the city. 

​

Judging will be held December 8 thru December 13. On the nights of judging, please turn all your holiday lights on by 6:00 p.m. and leave them on until 11:00 p.m. Winners will be announced December 14 during the Hearne Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade celebration.

Residential prizes:
1st Place - $100.00
2nd Place - $75.00
3rd Place - $50.00

Business prizes:
1st Place - A plaque for the business
2nd Place - A plaque for the business
3rd Place - A plaque for the business
All three winners will be featured in a half page, full color ad in the Robertson County News.

Winners will also receive special recognition on the City and Chamber websites as well as social media pages.
