The City website should provide its citizens with current relevant information including the minutes of City Council meetings and open positions & job postings . It should be the 1st place people go for answers to their questions, to report problems or actions that the City needs to address in the neighborhood, rather than the Facebook page, which is more for commerce, lost & found pets, than it is a good source of information. City emergency or information pages are drowned out by social media & business ads.
I searched the entire site and aside from City Council meeting agenda (but no minutes) the latest post was November 22 2016, Oh I did manage to find the 2023 ballot announcement for City Council after a lot of work.
This should be an easy site to find information. The FB page needs to prioritize messages from the City and refer people to the website.
